Acer’s Enduro Laptops Aim to Conquer the Outdoors

Acer enters a new category of gadgets with its Enduro series. Comprising of two laptops and three tablets, the line highlights a rugged design that can withstand extreme temperatures, hard drops, and even dusty and humid environments.

Headlining the series is the Enduro N7, which comes with a MIL-810G certification and IP65 rating, making it a laptop that can withstand rainy conditions. It does not compromise on specs either, as it comes with a 14-inch Full HD display with 700 nits of brightness and two batteries: a built-in battery and a hot-swappable one that can last for up to 10 hours on a single charge. An 8th-generation Core i5 quad core processor powers it, and it comes with a plethora of security features: fingerprint scanner, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, and Acer Enduro Manageability Suite (AEMS).

Those looking for a sleeker rugged laptop can opt for the Enduro N3. Even with its sub-25mm frame and sub-2kg weight, the Enduro N3 is MIL-STD 810G certified and IP53 rated, making it ideal for use in humid working conditions. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass, and it comes with AquaFans to dispel most liquids out of the system.

For the internals, you get a 10th-gen Core i7 processor, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, and an optional MX230 discrete GPU. As for battery life, the Enduro N3 is rated for up to 13 hours on a single charge. Like the Enduro N7, you get the same set of security features: fingerprint scanner, TPM 2.0, and AEMS.

The Enduro N3 will be available this August in America with an $899(~Php 45k) starting price.
