If you think Acer can’t find a way to improve last year’s super skinny Swift 7, the Taiwanese company figured that they can make the Swift 7 smaller by practically ditching the bezels. The 2019 version of the Swift 7 weighs a hair under two pounds, and boasts of a 9.55mm thickness, making it the most compact laptop for its class.
With that skinny frame, you get a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen display, two USB-C ports with support for Thunderbolt 3, a headphone jack, and a battery that can last for up to 10 hours. For the internals, you have a Core i7-8500Y dual-core processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD—practically the same configuration of the 2018 Swift 7.
As for the bezel-less design, Acer had to move the front camera to the keyboard area, popping up only when you need it. With a $1,699(~Php 89.1k) asking price, it is pretty steep if you consider its features. But then, it is rare to find a laptop that is razor slim and packs power at the same time.
