AKG K 311 Earphones Review
The AKG K 311 is one of the very few products of AKG that sell for under Php1,000. With a wallet-friendly price tag of Php799, the AKG K 311 is not only affordable, it also looks great and it delivers good sound quality for the price that you’re paying. It’s one of those rare products that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to my friends or our readers here at Unbox. Build
The earphones are covered in transparent plastic that comes in either one of the following three colors: Milk (White), Plum (Violet), and Lime (Green). The plastic is a semi-transparent so you’ll be able to see some parts of the drivers and the wires inside. The “AKG” brand is emblazoned at the outer face of the earbuds giving it a very classy look. The earphones also come with foam that you can put on the earbuds. This helps in making the earphones more comfortable so you can wear it longer.
My one major complaint though is the wire. It’s a bit too short for my taste but then again you can’t have everything with Php799 right? Haha. 🙂
Sound Quality
If you’re a hardcore audiophile don’t expect the AKG K 311 to blow you away. If you’re coming from the default white iPod/iPhone earphones though then this is a very welcome upgrade. You’ll immediately notice the difference with the clearer and forward-character mids and punchy bass. I honestly didn’t expect this level of sound from earphones worth Php799!
Verdict
AKG is just one of those names you can’t help but trust when it comes to sound quality and just like with their other products they make good on their promise of shipping outstanding products with the AKG K 311.
