The success of the first phone offered by Xiaomi sub-brand Pocophone virtually guaranteed a successor to the F1, and if we’re to believe Geekbench, it looks like the next iteration of the bang-for-the-buck flagship doesn’t offer that much of an improvement hardware-wise compared to the previous iteration.
At least, that’s if the hardware spotted on Geekbench for the Pocophone F2 is legit. The listing on the benchmarking app shows that the Pocophone F2 will have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM that’s on the entry-level variant of the Pocophone F1.
That’s not to say that the Pocophone F2 won’t have hardware refinements in several other areas like the display and camera, which may be the focus of the next iteration of the device.
