Here’s the alleged photos of Huawei’s newest phones
Huawei is gearing up to reveal their next iteration of the P series of smartphone in London a few days from now. But instead of one device, it seems that the global company is releasing two variants of the P8: the regular P8 and the P8 Lite. The top of the line P8 which is slated to get a full metal body with glass covering it, and sport a 6.4mm thin body. As far as specs are concerned, the P8 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch full HD display, Kirin 930 chipset, a whopping 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD slot, 13-megapixel battery and a 2520mAh battery. As is the case with the company’s hi-end phones, the P8 will sport dual SIMs that both have LTE capability.
The P8 Lite meanwhile, will get a 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz Kirin 620 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
While we were disappointed with the performance of the P7, Huawei’s Kirin SoCs have now come of age, which is evidenced by the excellent performance of the Mate7 and its Kirin 925 processor. The Kirin 620 processor on the P8 Lite meanwhile, is the same processor that’s on the Honor 4X and from our time with the latter, the SoC is good enough to keep everything running smoothly.
No price has been set for the two devices, but if we know Huawei, the company will probably be looking to duplicate the price of the P7. The P7 was one of the most affordable international flagships when it was released last year. Hopefully the company keeps the pricing of the upcoming flagship the same.
