Always Take Care When You Buy Hard Drives Online

Some things are just too good to be true

While buying stuff online is pretty convenient, there are people out there that want nothing more than to scam you out of your hard earned money. Just take a look at redditor kingruudz, who thought he was buying a 1TB HDD from China.

While it did look like a legit Samsung external drive, when he opened it up, he found not a hard drive but a small 32GB flash drive wired to the USB port and two large, heavy metal screws to give the drive a sense of weight.

This is a cautionary tale to everybody who buys online – if a deal seems to good to be true, it probably is. Pay the extra cash to deal with legit sellers and stores or else you may find that the product you paid for is really just a worthless paperweight.

Nadaya na nga ako sa China, dinaya pa ako sa customs. Kaya lesson learned, learn and research first if trusted ba yung company.
