Amazfit’s New Smartwatches Come with Built-in ECG Sensors

Both can store up to 60 minutes of ECG data for 7 days

Amazfit unveiled two new smartwatches with the Smart Watch 2 and Health Watch. Both wearables come with an ECG sensor (there’s a Smart Watch 2 without it if don’t find this feature necessary) that can store up to 60 minutes of ECG data for 7 days and can send real-time emergency data such as low heart rate, atrial fibrillation, and fall detection.

The Health Watch 2 comes with a 1.28-inch colored display with tempered glass protection, 3ATM water resistance, Bluetooth 5.0, a variety of sensors that include heart rate and a Low-power BioTracker PPG sensor, and a 200mAh battery rated for up to 7 days on a single charge.

The Smart Watch 2 has a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage. It comes with Amazfit OS, IP68 rating, a built-in eSIM for 4G connectivity, and has a 420mAh battery rated for 28 hours with 4G usage.

The Health Watch 2 is priced at CNY 699(~Php 5.3k), while the Smart Watch 2 is priced at CNY 999(~Php 7.6k) for the standard edition. The ECG edition of the Smart Watch 2 is priced at CNY 1299(~Php 9.8k), while the Avengers edition (limited to 5000 units) is priced at CNY 1499(~11.3k).
