The Radeon RX 5700 will be the first model under AMD’s Navi family. While details are scarce as of this writing, AMD hinted that the Navi’s new architecture offers “up to 1.25x performance per clock and 1.5x performance per watt ” compared to previous-generation Polaris and Vega GPUs.
In addition, AMD claims that the RX 5700 beats NVIDIA’s RTX 2070 in Strange Brigade by 10%. Other features of the RX 5700 include GDDR6 and PCIe 4.0—there’s no mention yet of Ray Tracing.
AMD will divulge more details about the RX 5700 June 10, so we will have to wait and see what AMD has to offer.
