AnTuTu just released its May 2020 report of top-performing phones in the mid-range and flagship segment, and Xiaomi dominated both segments with the Redmi K30 5G and Mi 10 Pro respectively.
On the mid-range segment, the Snapdragon 765G-powered Redmi K30 (aka POCO X2 in some markets) trumped over the Kirin 810-powered Nova 7i by over 7k points. In AnTuTu’s top 10 performing mid-range phones for May 2020, only the Redmi K30 5G and Nova 7i breached over the 300k mark.
Going to the flagship category, Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Pro leads the top 10 with a score of almost 591k. The phones that got the second to fourth spot—Redmi K30 Pro (aka POCO F2 Pro), OnePlus 8 Pro, and Mi 10—are all powered by Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset.
That does not mean that last year’s Snapdragon 855+ is not powerful enough, as the ROG Phone 2 and Realme X2 Pro ranked 7th and 9th place respectively.
