Apple Confirms October 30 Event in New York

New iPad Pros expected to be unveiled

Apple is not yet done with product releases: after releasing the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and Apple Watch 4 last month, the Cupertino-based company will be holding another product launch on October 30. This time, it will be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City.

Like any Apple invites, the message is cryptic, with the slogan “There’s more in the making” and the varying invite designs hinting at the iPad Pro.

According to rumors, the new iPad Pros will have skinnier bezels, leading to the removal of the home button. Unlike the iPhone XS, however, the new iPad Pros will not have a notch on their display and might ditch the Lightning connector for USB-C. Powering it is an A12X processor, which is said to be more powerful than those found on the 2018 iPhones. Other rumored features include FaceID, a new Apple Pencil, and support for 4K HDR video output.

Aside from new iPad Pros, there’s also the possibility that Apple will unveil the successor of the aging MacBook Air and Mac Mini, along with the much-delayed AirPower wireless charger.
