Apple is Removing the Charger and Earphones across all iPhones

During the unveiling of the iPhone 12 series, Apple announced that it is no longer including the charger and earphones in the box as part of reducing their carbon footprint and environmental waste. This meant that every iPhone 12 sold only comes with the unit and a Lightning to USB-C cable.

A lot of people were dismayed by this move. Various brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, and Realme even mocked Apple, emphasizing that they will still include the charger in the box.

With Apple being Apple, they did not mind the criticisms. In fact, a quick check at Apple’s website reveals that other models like the iPhone SE, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 series will only ship with a Lightning to USB-C cable moving forward.

This shows that Apple is serious about giving customers to buy the earphones and wall charger separately should they need one. Should you need either, Apple’s 20W USB-C Power Adapter and EarPods are priced at Php 1,190.

However, if insist on getting an iPhone SE, iPhone XR, or any iPhone 11 with the charger and earphones, you are better off in finding retail stores that have old stocks of the said units.
