Apple recently sent invites for its upcoming event on September 10, confirming the launch date for the next-generation iPhones. Just like last year, Apple is expected to unveil the successors to the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max, introducing a new design for this year.
As far as rumors are concerned, the next-generation iPhones will have a triple rear camera setup, adding an ultra-wide-angle camera to the mix. All three phones are expected to come with an A13 processor, the same screen resolution as their predecessors, and a Lightning port—Apple will not give the next-generation iPhones the USB-C treatment as it did with the iPad Pro.
Other rumored features include reverse wireless charging, an updated FaceID system, and new shatter-resistant tech for both front and back glass panels.
Aside from the next-generation iPhones, Apple might have other surprises in store during the launch event.
