Looks like Apple is gearing up for another big product launch this October 27th. The focus this time, according to reputable industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, will solely be on MacBooks. Engadget recently compiled the rumors on these babies, so let’s check them out.
A redesigned MacBook Pro has long been mulled over at online rumor mills, and it looks like we’ll be getting that in a few days if Kuo is to be believed. This new MacBook Pro series will be packed with Intel’s Skylake processors, OLED touch strips, USB Type-C ports, and possibly up to 2TB of solid state internal storage. A “MagSafe” power adapter is also speculated to be bundled in as well.
As for MacBook Air fans, aside from the usual hardware upgrades, there’s not much to look forward to. Kuo simply says that “there will be a 13-inch MacBook”, and while certain rumors point towards that direction, details remain sparse.
We’ll be covering Apple’s October 27 event, so stay glued to Unbox for more details, folks!
