Lytro Camera unveiled at AsiaD

Remember the Lytro Camera we featured a few months ago? It turns out it’s now available for pre-order in the US and it will ship in Q1 2012! They even featured the actual product during the Tech Demo at the AsiaD Conference. Here’s the full demo video posted on the All Things Digital site:

If you watched the video you’re probably convinced to get one already. How much? $399 for 8GB model and $499 for the 16GB model.

This won’t replace the DSLR since it won’t have different accessories like lenses and flashes but it’s definitely a cool consumer-friendly device. Looking forward to seeing this in the Philippines!
