ASUS Announces Expert Series Commercial Line of Computers

New Chromebooks, Desktops also announced as well

ASUS is updating its commercial computer offerings this year with the Expert series. The new line is the brand’s modern take with is business products that consists of desktops, laptops, all-in-ones, and Chromebooks.

For its laptops, one of its new offerings is the ExpertBook P5440. The 14-inch laptop is touted as the lightest laptop in its class that offers dual storage. Powering it is a Core i7-8565U processor paired with 8GB RAM, MX130 Discrete GPU, and 512GB PCIe x2 NVMe SSD. You have a hard drive slot with the P5440 should you need additional storage.

While the P5440 is lightweight, ASUS did not compromise on durability as it has a magnesium alloy chassis. For security, the P5440 comes with features that include a fingerprint scanner, webcam shutter, Kensington Lock Slot, and a TPM 2.0 hardware-based security module.

For those who need a bigger screen estate and longer battery life, ASUS has the ExpertBook P3540. The 15-inch business laptop boasts of a 16-hour battery life and is powered by a Core-i7-8565u processor paired with 8GB RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD, and MX110 discrete GPU.

Aside from having the same security features found on the P5440, the P3540 has legacy ports like a VGA port and RJ45 LAN Port.

ASUS also updated its Chromebook portfolio with the Chromebook C423NA and Chromebook Flip C434TA. Both are powered by Chrome OS, and come with 8GB RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, MicroSDXC card readers, 2 USB-C 3.1 ports, and 2 USB-A 3.1 ports. the Chromebook C423NA has a 14-inch HD display and a Pentium N4200 processor, while the Chromebook Flip C434TA comes with a 14-inch Full HD IPS multi-touch display and either a Core m3-8100y or Core i5-8200y processor.

For desktops, ASUS has the Vivo PC S340MF. Designed for families, the S340MF has an eye-catching geometric front panel that gives it a unique look. Powering it is either a Core i3 or i5 processor with up to 8GB base RAM (up to 32GB max RAM), 1TB/2TB HDD options, and NVIDIA GT710 discrete graphics.

The P5440 is priced at Php 72,995, while the P3540 is priced at Php 62,995. The Chromebook C423NA is priced at Php 25,995 while the Chromebook C434TA is priced at Php 41,995 for the Core M3 version and Php 48,995 for the Core i5 version.

The Vivo PC S340MF starts at Php 27,995 for the Core i3-8100, 4GB RAM, and 1TB HDD configuration.
