ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7: Value for Money 7-inch Tablet?

Wanna talk value for money? Then how about getting a quad-core 7-inch Android tablet with an HD IPS display with expandable storage for just Php5,300? That’s the promise that the newly announced ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 brings to the table. With an MRSP of just $129 (Php5,300) you get a pretty specced out tablet that has a gorgeous display which makes it perfect for consuming content, specifically videos like movies and TV series, while on the go. If ever ASUS Philippines manages to keep the price of this bad boy under Php6,000 then they have a potential smash hit on their hands.

Perhaps our only complaint about the initial spec sheet is the version of Android. We don’t know why they decided to ship this with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but we’re pretty sure they have their valid reasons for doing so. That doesn’t change the fact though that it will feel like you’re using something outdated.

If you want something bigger though and with more kick, the good news is ASUS also came out with a more powerful 10-inch model called the ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10.

The ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10 is potentially a strong 10-inch Android offering. It packs a powerful Intel CP, generous serving of RAM at 2GB, and it has a gorgeous 10-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920×1200 resolution. This makes for an awesome media and entertainment device on-the-go.
