Will ASUS’ gaming brand’s product offerings expand on July?
Ask any PC gamer worth their salt about their preferred component brand, and more likely than not they’ll say the same thing: Republic of Gamers. The ROG sub-brand of Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS is THE go-to brand for many hardcore PC gamers, and is considered a status symbol for the members of the PC Master Race.
That’s probably the reason why ASUS is opening up a stand-alone concept store for their gaming brand in SM North. Eagle-eyed folks from Back2Gaming spotted the ROG label in one of the retail spots in SM, which points to a possible concept store in the same vein as Razer. The move isn’t surprising, since the gaming brand of ASUS has steadily expanded from just PC components like motherboards and videocards to essential PC gear like keyboards, mice and headphones.
With COMPUTEX just a few weeks away, you can expect the ROG lineup to expand in the coming months. We wouldn’t be surprised if we saw products unveiled during the tech show to make their way to the concept store when it opens its doors in July.
