ASUS Opens Android Pie Beta Testing for the ZenFone Max Pro M2

It is open to all ZenFone Max Pro M2 users

ASUS’ ZenFone Max Pro M2 is a hit for the Taiwanese brand for its good price-to-specs ratio. While it did have some quirks, ASUS addressed them via software updates.

In its latest effort, ASUS launched its Android Pie beta program for the ZenFone Max Pro M2. Unlike other beta programs, ASUS is making it available across all users regardless of the country they live in. Users need to be aware, however, that 1) they need to provide the serial number of their phone, 2) there will be no option to downgrade or rollback to an older version unless you opt out of the program, and 3) bugs and stability issues are expected since it is a beta build.

If you want to try out Android Pie on the ZenFone Max Pro M2, enroll here. Like any beta programs, make sure to back up your phone first.
