ASUS Prices Zenbook 3, Transformer 3 Pro, Transformer 3

ASUS Zenbook 3 01

Aside from the Zenfone 3 line of smartphones, ASUS also announced pricing for three other products today, namely the Zenbook 3, Transformer 3 Pro and the Transformer 3.

The Zenbook 3 is the company’s take on that ultra-sleek, ultra slim notebook that packs Intel’s next generation Kaby Lake processor and a frame that’s no thicker than 12mm.

The Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Pro on the other hand, are the company’s take on the Surface packing large touchscreen displays, Thunderbolt ports and detachable keyboards.

ASUS has priced the Zenbook 3 at Php 79,995 for the Intel Core i7 version with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB of M.2 SSD storage.

For the Transformer 3, ASUS has tacked on a price of Php 49,995 for the Core M version with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB of M.2 SSD storage. The Transformer 3 Pro on the other hand, will go for Php 69,995 for the Intel Core i5 variant with 512GB of M.2 SSD and 8GB of LPDDR3.

  1. Transformer 3 has Core M and is Php 49,995?
Transformer 3 Pro with Core i5 and retails for Php 69,995?
    Whoops, too expensive!
Unless you you messed up with the accuracy of your info.

        1. Let’s compare the two:

Acer Switch Alpha 12 versus Transformer Book 3
          Core i5 6th generation versus Core M 7th generation
          4GB RAM LPDDR3 versus (up to) 8GB RAM LPDDR3
12-inch IPS versus 12.6-inch IPS display
          QHD versus WQHD+ resolution
          512GB versus 512GB
15.4mm thick versus 6.9mm thickness (ouch)
          37Whr versus 38.5Whr battery

So yeah, I think it’s priced just right at 49,995. Core M 7th generation should be able to go against Core i5 just fine except in multi-core.
