Bummed out that ASUS didn’t announce a successor to the Zenfone Max, don’t be. ASUSTeK CEO Jerry Shen told us today that they’ll be releasing new models of the Zenfone Max later this year in August, and that there will be three variations available for purchase.
Even better, Shen says that the upcoming Zenfone 3 Max will have a metal body much like the Zenfone 3,though with prominent antenna lines. In fact he shared that almost all of the Zenfone 3 family of devices will have metal bodies, or at least metal frames – only the upcoming refreshed Zenfone Gos will have plastic exteriors.
