ASUS Zenfone Max Gets Marshmallow Update

ASUS Zenfone Max

If you’ve been waiting for ASUS to finally update its big batteried Zenfone Max to the latest version of Android, you’re in luck. The Taiwanese manufacturer has officially started rolling out the Marshmallow update for the 5000mAh packing phone today.

The update should show up as an OTA on your phone, packing a WW_13.8.26.31 version name, and brings the Max up to Android Marshmallow. We expect the different battery optimizations in Marshmallow to further increase the phone’s already legendary battery life even further.

Just like before, ASUS will also be removing redundant features in its ZenUI overlay with the new update, namely Asus Email, Asus Calendar and Asus Messaging.
