Excited for the Zenfone Zoom?
Aside from processor choices, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen also talked about their upcoming Zenfone Zoom with us when we sat down with him during the company’s Zenfestival event, held last Saturday in Makati. We have good news and bad news – the bad news is that the Zenfone Zoom might turn out to be substantially more expensive than the Zenfone 2, with Mr. Shen giving us a 20K price estimate for the upcoming smartphone. Obviously that’s not a firm price as of yet, and it’s still subject to change, but the good news is that he says that the Zenfone Zoom will be cheaper than Samsung’s top-of-the-line smartphone offerings.

Mr. Shen also says that the Zoom will be available in November in the PH, which obviously makes it an attractive Christmas gift to people looking to upgrade to a new, high-end smartphone.
