It has a better waterproof certification compared to previous Galaxy Gear models.

Samsung has been quite busy in making wearables for every type of person out there.

This time, they are in the works of a Spotify-ready Galaxy Gear aimed at those living the active lifestyle. Dubbed the Gear Fit2 Pro, Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch offers a 5 ATM water resistance (that translates to the watch being “waterproof” for up to 150 feet), has GPS functionality, support for Speedo’s “Speedo on” app for recording your swim times, and support for Spotify’s music streaming, including an offline mode. That means you can stream your favorite tunes, no matter how baduy it may be, through the Gear Fit2 Pro (using wireless headphones, of course).

The shape and design of the Gear Fit2 Pro is similar to previous Gear Fit models, save for having a traditional buckle for its clasp, which should address problems with the clasp design of previous Gear Fit models.

We are not sure of its availability, but according to EVLeaks’ Evan Blass, the Gear Fit2 Pro will launch at the end of August, just in time for the annual IFA.
