ASUS has finally released their Marshmallow update for their Zenfone 2, specifically the ZE551ML. It’s taken them quite a while, and to be honest we were taken for a ride back in July when we first announced the update – apparently that didn’t push through, since many users complained that they never got their hands on Marshmallow.

Anyway, that’s all changed – ASUS has announced on their forums that the Marshmallow update for the ZE551ML is now up and being distributed to phones, though you can download the update manually via this link from their official support website. Just like the other Marshmallow updates on their previous phones, the one for the ZE551ML will remove several ASUS bloatware and replaces them with their Google equivalent.
