BlackBerry PlayBook to launch in the Philippines August 6!

This just in! Research in Motion’s (RIM) professional grade tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, will be available in the Philippines starting August 6, 2011. The prices are very competitive with the Apple iPad. Sadly there’s no 3G model yet so all we have right now are WiFi Only models. Here are the prices:

16GB BlackBerry PlayBook — P23,990
32GB BlackBerry PlayBook — P28,990
64GB BlackBerry PlayBook — P33,990
