BlackView’s Alife Pro May Be Their Breakout Device, Projected to Cost Under 6K

More affordable bang for the buck phones!

BlackView, a phone brand from Hong Kong has been in the Philippines barely a year now but the brand isn’t making big headway compared to other players in the market. One device may soon change that – we’ve previously talked about their Alife Pro that packs a lot of features in a very attractive package. All that was missing was the price, and if Gizchina is to be believed, then BlackView may just have a winner in their hands.

BlackView Alife P1 Pro specs

  • MediaTek MTK6735 quad-core processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 resolution
  • 16GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 32GB
  • 13-megapixel rear camera
  • 5-megapixel front camera
  • Dual SIM
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • 3000mAh battery

To recap, the Alife Pro has a 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 13-megapixel camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Gizchina is saying that the new phone is estimated to cost around $129.99, which is roughly 5.8K converted to our currency. Even accounting for importation costs, that’s not a bad price, and puts the phone squarely in competition with the Alcatel Flash Plus.

No release date has been set for the Alife Pro.

  1. This is a quad core phone that clocks in at about the same speed as an MT6582 processor. Think of it as a 6582 with a 4g modem built into the soc. Another way of looking at it is that it’s a 6732 super super diet version in terms of speed. Initial antutu scores are about 19000 only. The fact is, this phone is overpriced.

    1. Mahal pa rin ito sa inyo? Gusto mo ng overpriced? iphone 6. Running on duocore lcd display with 1gb ram and 1810mah battery.

      1. @archie What he’s trying to say is there are a lot of better offerings in the 6k and 7k segment that if you try to compare it to this phone it’ll look way overpriced. I’m an android fanboy but you do know that iphone 6 got one of the most accurate display in terms of color temperature, grayscale and saturation while rival phones have a hard time achieving the same results. It’s dual core A8 can run any app as fast as other octa core SoC, it’s not all about cores it’s about the architecture and the efficiency of the CPU, apple have hundreds of millions for their R&D in developing their CPU exclusively for iOS and I bet most of those low range phones that you’re talking about can’t run asphalt 8 in high settings properly while Iphone 6 would obviously run it smoothly. I’m not defending apple pero ang tanga lang kasi ng argument mo better read more articles before trying to comment about something. Thank you Mr. Edgy na sana

        1. blah blah blah. Your argument on iphone is invalid. R&D?

I’m not trying to sound edgy, it’s just a fact na mareklamo ang pinoy sa lahat ng bagay pero di naman talaga bibili.

          1. Relax Archie, I was merely trying to present some facts. You don’t like the facts? Ok… Go buy it. It’s a good deal. There… You’ve been told what you want to hear. Feel better?

        2. dont fool us kazeo-san, you’re an apple fanboy. of course the iphone is overpriced, do you know the mark up that apple places on its products? 300%. for something that costs 200$ to make they will sell that for 800$, now dont you call that overpriced? and dont say that bullshit in R&D, everything that an iphone can do now everybody has already done 2 years ago. now their marketing is something else though, that’s probably were all your fanboys’ money is going.

ang pinag uusapan dito specs and price.. and is it worth buying the gadget..
apple has one of the best hardware and software in the market.. kaya nga sobrang mahal. ano ba hindi naiintindihan ni mr edgy dito e puro tagalog naman ang comment.. haha

    1. Sir Archie regarding sa SKK Lynx, i’m so fortunate na merong kiosk ang SKK sa farmers cubao sa 2nd Floor at hanggang ngayon eh meron pa rin silang available stock ng SKK Lynx. In my opinion Alife pro & Firefly Allure was my prospect for this year in local brand android phones, in fact budget & specs wise panalo ang dalawang ito compare sa ibang local branded phones 3 features that this 2 units ahead from others were: LTE capable, removable battery & Fingerprint sensors.
