Canon Launches New Entry-Level EOS 3000D and EOS 1500D DSLRs

Made for the budding photographer

Aside from introducing its new Powershot flagship and its first 4K-capable mirrorless camera, Canon also introduced two new EOS DSLRs aimed at the casual and entry-level camera users.

Both the EOS 3000D and EOS 1500D come with friendly features such as Scene Intelligent Auto Mode and Creative Filters to aid users in capturing Instagram-worthy photos. They’re even friendly to avid smartphone users, as they have Wi-Fi connectivity for easy transfer of photos. The EOS 1500D also comes with NFC for easy pairing with your smartphone.

The EOS 1500D comes with a 24.1-megapixel sensor and a 3-inch LCD display, while the EOS 3000D has a newly-developed 18-megapixel sensor and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Both cameras have a DIGIC 4+ processor, Full HD video at 30FPS, 3FPS burst shooting, and up to a native ISO of 6400.
