I know that a lot of people will be buying gadgets this December and one particular category that will boom is digital cameras. There are a lot to choose from but one of the best point-and-shoot cameras we’ve ever seen is the Canon Powershot S95. Most of the photos here on Unbox are taken with this camera. When it first came out it was sold for over Php26,000. However today there are several online sellers who are selling it for almost half the price. For example Widget City is offering this baby for just Php14,500.

What’s with the price? Well two things. First the Canon S100 is probably going to hit the Philippines soon. Secondly the warranty is only service warranty and not direct warranty from Canon.

There you go. It’s definitely much more affordable but you’ll have to take the service warranty over the manufacturer warranty.
