A few days ago our friends from Mobile Tech Pinoy spotted a Mad Catz inspired gaming mouse of CD-R King, the Black. We decided to take a look at the gaming mouse ourselves because it’s not everyday that CD-R King sells a legit, honest-to-goodness gaming mouse.

And to be frank, it’s not a terrible looking mouse. Sure it could have been better named (Black is the official name of the mouse, but it only comes in one color, and that’s white) and isn’t customizable, despite its appearance but for the price, it’s alright.

Button placement isn’t the best though, as the buttons are pretty much scattered throughout the mouse without any kind of forethought. To the mouse’s credit, it did feel weighty enough for gaming use. At the price that CD-R King is asking for it though (Php 900), the gaming mouse is a little steep, considering it’s still an unknown entity.
