Two of them are affordable phones with large batteries

In time for summer, Cherry Mobile updates its smartphone offerings with eight new models: three from their new Flare Y line and five from the Flare J line.

Of the eight new phones, the Flare J8, Flare J8 LTE, and Flare Y6 Pro are the ones that caught our attention. The Flare J8 is an Android Go-powered smartphone with a huge 6.34-inch display accompanied by a generous 3500mAh battery. Powering it is a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The Flare J8 LTE gets a few upgrades with an LTE-ready 1.3Gh octa-core processor and a better set of dual rear cameras. The Flare J8 is priced at Php 3,499, while the Flare J8 LTE is priced at Php 3,999.

The Flare Y6 Pro is one of the few Cherry Mobile phones that comes with Android Pie out of the box. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ display, a large 4000mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, fingerprint scanner, and an LTE-ready 1.3Ghz Quad-core processor. The Flare Y6 Pro is priced at Php 4,299.

If you want a stylish budget phone with a waterdrop notch and a glass back, Cherry Mobile has the Flare Y7 and Flare Y7 LTE. Both models have a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch housing a 5-megapixel camera, 2800mAh battery, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and Android Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box. The Flare Y7 is priced at Php 3,699 while the Flare Y7 LTE is priced at Php 4,299.
