Interested in the Cherry Mobile’s newest smartphone?

Cherry Mobile is set to launch their newest Android One device in a few hours but it seems that the company has let the cat out of the bag early through an ad in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Anyway, the new device, dubbed the G1, will sport Android 5.1 Lollipop, 5-inch HD display and LTE via the Snapdragon 410 processor on board.

  1. now THIS is a decent smartphone for its price. If only the display is full HD (I have a “trained” eye).

But for what it’s worth, this is something to really consider if your budget falls within it’s price range.

    1. Not even a trained eye under normal circumstances can tell the difference.

Mobile devices are better off with 720p screens as this resolution is superior to give the device an overall balanced experienced.

    1. i rather choose this because it will be Google update supported, and for sure the build of this device will be in Google standards also, so expect better build for this.

waiting for this to be available.

    1. hindi sa kampe ako sa CM and MyPhone, but if my memory serves me correctly, ung pinakasells point nila ng Google One phone noong is SM MegaMall. i think andun karamihan ng stocks ng phone kc Google ata mismong nagbebenta kc joined kiosk sya eh, CM One and MP Uno ung binebenta nila dun.

  3. Hmmm..
I bet if MyPhone would do the same to Cherry Mobile:
MyPhone Dos, sequel to MyPhone Uno.
Price: Must be at least PHP 5,499.

If not, where is an Android One competitor?

      1. haha AFP, lollipop pa nga lng parang olats na eh. i am currently an AFP owner and i’m looking forward to sell it for this.

  4. wag muna kayo bumili cgurado dami pa issues yan na dapat ifix ng cm 😀 .. hahaha like fs3 daming ngreklamo na wala dw otg support, kaya aun nagrelease ng fs3 octa. hahaha ! . Marketing Strategy talaga oo.

    1. This has to follow Google’s quality standards or else yari ang CM. Like the original CM One, walang issues ito from the start.
