Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime

LTE plus Windows Phone 10 Under 5K? WOW!

Yesterday we showed you a sneak peek at Cherry Mobile’s upcoming Alpha Prime, their new series of Windows 10 powered budget devices with LTE. Cherry Mobile has officially shared the specs of the two devices under the new lineup, the Alpha Prime 4 and Prime 5. The Prime 4 has a 4-inch display of an unknown resolution, 5-megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage while the Prime 5 has a 5-inch HD display, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Cherry Mobile says that the phones use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8909 processor, though that may be a misprint, with the devices actually using a Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor. While Cherry Mobile has not priced the new phones officially, the new phones are expected to be priced less than $100 (Php 4470).

As far Windows 10 updates for the company’s previous devices, your guess on when those products will get the update is as good as ours – we’re still trying to confirm that information with the Cherry Mobile.

  1. Yung specifications ng Prime 4 is a 3K-priced phone, pero tingin ko 3K+ to kasi LTE enabled, hoping. 😀

  2. I’m dreaming of having my first WP and maybe this would be it if it is better than Alpha Luxe and Neon. I hope this would not have any problems like glitch.
