Everyone’s going dual-camera nowadays
It’s not just high-end brands that are going dual-cam nowadays – Cherry Mobile, purveyor of all phones affordable is also releasing their own dual-cam phone. Dubbed the Cherry Mobile Flare P1, the new phone has two rear cameras, with the main camera being a 13-megapixel deal while the secondary one is a 2-megapixel. Just like Huawei’s dual-camera devices, the Flare P1’s secondary cam takes depth information and applies it to the image to create artificial bokeh.

The rest of the phone is what you’d expect from a budget phone – it has a 5-inch HD IPS display, a MediaTek 6580 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and Android Nougat. Sadly it looks like the Flare P1 doesn’t have LTE capability on board.
The Flare P1 is priced at Php 3,999.
