Low-batt no more!
One of the biggest criticisms of readers in today’s crop of octa-core smartphones is battery life. More precisely, the lack of it. There are octa-core smartphones that have more battery life than you can shake a stick at, but sadly that’s not exactly what you’d call an affordable octa-core device. Enter the Fuze S from Cherry Mobile, prematurely outed by their retailer, Cherry Angel. The Fuze S has an octa-core processor plus a massive 4000mAh battery! It’s obviously an upgrade from the regular Fuze that was released last year, and boy, what an upgrade!

Priced at Php 4,499, the Fuze S is certainly affordalbe, considering that you’re buying a smartphone with an octa-core processor inside it powered by 4000mAh of juice. While the FWVGA display is a bummer, we’re certain a lot of you out there want to prioritize battery life over display quality. No idea when this particular phone arrives, but we’re assuming that Cherry Angel already has this in stock (thus the photo).
