Cherry Mobile’s Omega X is a Sub-4K Phone with Decent Performance

It comes with a capable Helio P23 processor

Aside from the impressive Flare S8 series, Cherry Mobile is beefing up its Omega line with the Omega X. Priced at Php 3,999, the Omega X is even more affordable than the Flare Y7 LTE—its close doppelganger.

While it literally looks similar to the Flare Y7 LTE with its 6.2-inch HD+ dewdrop display, 2800mAh battery, and single 13-megapixel rear camera setup, the Omega X flaunts gradient color options like this Crimson Blue color variant we came across at Cherry Mobile’s office.

Another big difference is the internals: with the Omega X, you get an Helio P23 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage—the same configuration found on the Flare S8. We did a quick AnTuTu test on the Omega X, and its score of 84545 makes it a compelling offering at the sub-Php 4k segment. Also note worthing is that the Omega X comes with a clean, stock version of Android 9, giving you more space for your apps and media files.
