Cloudfone Thrill 450q with a Quad-core CPU coming soon?

Do we finally have a worthy successor to the Cloudfone Thrill 430x?
Do we finally have a worthy successor to the Cloudfone Thrill 430x?

Cloudfone has been relatively quiet after they introduced the highly successful Cloudfone Thrill 430x. The immediate successor, the Cloudfone Excite 400d, was more of a budget-friendly offering so it didn’t make the same amount of excitement as the Thrill 430x. However it looks like Cloudfone is cooking up something good with what looks like their next release, the Cloudfone Thrill 450q.

10,704... probably quad-core.

Cloudfone Thrill 450q?

We received this screenshot via Twitter from @johnfeeler. It shows the Antutu Benchmark Test score of a device named the Cloudfone Thrill 450q. The phone scored over 10,000 which is comparable to the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0. With those numbers it looks like the Thrill 450q will be carrying a Mediatek quad-core processor.

We don’t have any information about this device other than the screenshot provided for by John. We’re hoping though that Cloudfone throws in 1GB RAM, qHD display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and a monstrous battery (reminiscent of the Thrill 430x) to the mix to make it a truly compelling product proposition.

Unfortunately we’re also clueless when it comes to the launch date and pricing. Ideally they should sell this for less than Php10,000 if they want to make it competitive against other local brands.

As soon as we get more information on the Cloudfone Thrill 450q, we’ll update all of you.
