Dell Streak 5

The Dell Streak 5 was finally launched and priced yesterday for the Philippine market. It will sell for P27,000 putting it directly in competition (in terms of price) with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the BlackBerry Torch 9800. It’s significantly bigger than both the Arc and the Torch though since the Dell Streak 5 is a hybrid of the smartphone and tablet form factors. In terms of specs, the Dell Streak has a rear-facing 5MP camera (front facing VGA), 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, native social media applications, Android Froyo 2.2 OS, and expandable Micro SD memory up to 32GB.

Dell Streak is exclusively distributed in the Philippines MSI-ECS. For more product information, please contact Mil Aquino at 6883749, visit www.msi-ecs.com.ph or email marketing@msi-ecs.com.ph. Dell Streak 5 will be available in stores end of April.

PS: If you’re after just an Android tablet though you might want to seriously consider just getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab. They recently had a price cut and you can get it for now under P22,000, significantly cheaper than the Dell Streak 5.
