Dell Updates the XPS 13 with Relocated Webcam

Time to say goodbye to awkward camera angles

After it was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2019, Dell is bringing the 2019 XPS 13 to our shores. While it looks similar to its predecessor, the biggest change with the 2019 model is the relocated webcam. Now placed on top of the display, Dell claims that they installed the smallest webcam ever—at 2.25mm—in the 2019 XPS 13.

That tiny camera comes with a 4-element lens for better image quality, temporal noise reduction for better video quality in low light, and active alignment for accurate focus.  Other changes include Dolby Vision support for its 13-inch 4K touchscreen display, Dell Cinema 2.0 for a complete cinematic experience, and a new Arctic White color.

You get three USB-C ports (two supporting Thunderbolt 3), MicroSD card slot, and a headphone jack. Powering it is an Intel Core i7-8565u processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB NVMe SSD. You also get an Intel UHD 620 Integrated GPU, stereo speakers, and a 52Whr battery that is rated for up to 11 hours on a single charge.

The 2019 XPS 13 starts at Php 100,990 and is available at select authorized Dell stores nationwide.
