We’ve been hearing that Nokia is making a comeback in 2017 for quite some time now. We’ve given you a couple of stories that definitely point to phones sporting the Finnish brand’s name, such as the Nokia P1 and the Nokia D1C. Now, we’re hearing that a phone from HMD Global bearing the Nokia name passed its China Compulsory Certification some time last week and details for the smartphone have just been leaked along with a rather blurry photo of the unit seen above. Here are the leaked specs for the Nokia E1.

- 5.2 or 5.3-inch HD display; 1280 x 720 resolution

The E1 is just one of the five phones sources say HMD Global will be releasing in 2017; some of which are expected to make it to the floor at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
