Elephone has just leaked a premium handset with flagship specs, the Z1. Featuring a back casing similar to the recently released Elephone S7, the Z1 is supposedly the last smartphone to be released by Elephone for this year.

Not much is known about the Z1 at the moment, aside from what was leaked on a Pinterest post. Here’s what we have so far.

- MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage
- Rear camera with Samsung lens
- Android 7.0 Nougat
Looks like 6GB RAM is fast becoming the new standard for Android high-end offerings. Expect to see a lot more Android phones packing that much RAM next year, and possibly more, once the SoC manufacturers start populating the industry with capable chipsets.
