Epson Unveils Latest Innovations at Fusion IX

One of which is an efficient textile printer

Epson hosted its annual Fusion media thanksgiving event at Balesin Club to showcase its latest technologies in lighting and printing. For its 9th year, Epson focused on its innovation focused on printers, which include portable Point-Of-Sale printers, Enterprise-grade Inkjet printers, and digital textile printers.

Among those on display include Epson’s LightScene accent lighting projector and their tablet Point-of-Sale printer.

During the media launch, Epson demonstrated the abilities of its SureColor F2130—an industrial printer that uses direct-to-garment technology in printing designs onto t-shirts. The tech basically prints the design directly onto the shirt, resulting in a clean final output.

A sample of what the SureColor F2130 can do. For this particular design, it took the printer around 5 minutes to complete the final t-shirt design.

The printer is an innovation as it introduced a streamlined way of placing designs into shirts efficiently. It epitomizes this year’s theme “It’s in the Details”, as the final output of the SureColor F2130 matches most shirts sold in retail stores.

Believe or not, this print is done using the SureColor F2130, and it looks like those shirts you see in retail stores!

“Our obsession to details enables us to turn big ideas to reality. It also gave us the opportunity to expand our portfolio of innovative products, dedicated to making lives simpler,” Epson Philippines President and Country Manager Toshimitsu Tanaka said.
