Ex-Nokia Exec Bringing Nokia Phones Back


News of Nokia phones returning to the mobile space is fast materializing, as Pekka Randall, ex Nokia exec and Rovio CEO has assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer at HMD Global Oy, the firm that is partnering with the Finnish company to license the Nokia name for a new range of smartphones running Android.

HMD will also be partnering with Foxconn Technology’s FIH Mobile subsidiary to build the phones. If you remember, Nokia earlier allowed their name to be used by Foxconn to out the Android-powered N1 tablet.
