The series might not be killed off, after all
A few months ago during the launch of the Ren02 series in the Philippines, the F-series was notably missing from OPPO’s updated lineup—we were greeted instead by several Reno phones and two A-series phones. The Reno2 F was said to be the spiritual successor of the F11 Pro that launched early this year.
While OPPO has yet officially talked about the fate of the F-Series—aka the series that made OPPO’s name in the Philippines—it seems that the line is not yet dead. In fact, OPPO teased an upcoming model in India called the F15.
The 30-second teaser hints at the F15 being targeted towards the youth, with the last 5 seconds giving us a closer look at the F15—which looks very similar to the A91 that launched in China last week. In essence, the F15 might be the global version of the A91.
That being said, we expect the F15 to have a quad-rear camera setup, a waterdrop notch, an AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an Helio P70 processor.
The F15 is expected to launch in India this January.
