Fitbit’s original Charge is still one of the company’s best selling wearables because of its simplicity and ease of use. With their new Charge 2, Fitbit’s added a few ew features to the latest version of the iconic wearable, including a reminder that most of us tend to forget nowadays.
The new Charge 2 has a bigger display – 4 times larger, in fact – that gives you more information at a glace about your daily activity. There are customizable watch faces as well for the new, bigger display. Fitbit’s PurePulse heart sensor is still there as well, and now there’s a new metric that the wearable measures dubbed Cardio Fitness. It uses your age, gender and weight along with your heart levels and compares it to other scores to see where you are exactly cardio-wise compared to your peers.
The most surprising feature of the new wearable is that it’ll help you relax – it guides you through short 2- to 5-minute breathing exercises that calms your body, using information from the heart monitor.
The new Charge 2 is priced at $149, just like the Charge HR.
