To have a sub-Php 15k price
Samsung will be adding a new model to the Galaxy M series line, and its key specs are revealed ahead of its launch in India on June 11. Known as the Galaxy M40, the upcoming mid-range phone will come with a 6.3-inch Infinity-O punch hole display. The punch hole will house a 16-megapixel front camera.
The Galaxy M40 will have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 32-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5-megapixel depth sensor. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 675 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 3500mAh battery. Unlike previous Galaxy M models, the Galaxy M40 will have Android Pie out of the box.
The Galaxy M40 is rumored to have a price of around INR 20,000(~Php 15k), making it priced competitively against the likes of the Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
