Garmin Expands its Solar-Powered Smartwatch Line with the Instinct Series

After bringing one of its solar-powered watches with the Fenix 6 Pro Solar and Fenix 6S Pro Solar, Garmin expands its solar-powered watch line with the Instinct Solar series.

Like the Fenix Pro Solar, the Instinct Solar series uses Garmin’s Power Glass—which combines glass with an ultrathin layer of conductive elements for converting light to electrical energy. Despite having a solar charging element, the Instinct’s Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) display still retains full visibility even under bright sunlight.

As a watch geared for outdoor enthusiasts, the Instinct Solar can last up 24 days in smartwatch mode and up to over 54 days with its solar charging tech. The Instinct Solar also inherits the Fenix series’ body battery feature, which analyzes heart rate variability, stress level, sleep quality, and activity data to determine overall energy levels, along with a SpO2 sensor.

The Instinct Solar is priced at Php 24,995 while the Camo Edition is priced at Php 27,995. Like the Fenix series, the Instinct series is available at all official Garmin stores nationwide.
