Gionee Marathon M5 has a 6,020mAh Battery Pack

This Should Let You Go the Distance

Gionee is definitely a company that likes to take things to the extreme. For example, their newest flagship release, the Gionee ELife E8, is positioned as a camera phone that can shoot up to 120-megapixel photos. Now why would anyone want to have 120MP pics is beyond me but Gionee clearly wants to differentiate. Alongside the ELife E8 they also announced another super exaggerated offering with the Gionee Marathon M5. This time they put a 6,020mAh battery pack in it.

Eh di wow. Ikaw na, Gionee! Bigyan ng jacket! Hehe.

Seriously though here are the specifications.

  1. Impressive specs pero disappointing yung 9 out of 16gb usable storage kahit may sd slot (see gadgetstouse youtube). Sana magawan ng paraan ng Gionee Philippines yung price at mapaliit yung kain ng system at bibilhin ko ito against huawei p8.

  2. Considering that Asus had managed to insert 10,000 mAh in their powerbank, I’m guessing it’s appropriate.

  3. 18k… wow… if it was 9999php then that’s VERY reasonable but… wow… the specs aren’t even powerful than current budget phones.

  4. 1) what good would a 120 MP camera be if ya can’t enjoy it gloriously on a full HD orhigher?

    2) ansilbi ng 6000 battery kung walang fast charging?

This brand along with Oppo are like the pricey version of Star mo. deludely trying to entice fools by baiting with unnecessary specs then charging an arm and a leg for it. At least firefly knew how to suck interest in by offering what people have been clamoring for. dahil siguro mahina bentahan ng Intense LTE they needed to respond sensibly and they are now reaping the rewards.

  6. Kung inipon mo nalang ang mga pambili mo ng mamahaling smartphone tiyak next year may bahay kana at sa mga estudyante aral pa more before tapon pera
