Gionee’s S6 Pro and P7 Max Are Now Official: Metallic Midrangers with Octa-Cores

It’s Gionee’s turn to pitch into the massive pile of upcoming smartphones this closing quarter of 2016. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently unwrapped their 5.5-inch S6 Pro and P7 Max for public consumption. Let’s check the published specs of these devices.


Gionee S6 Pro

Gionee P7 Max

  • 2.2GHz MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor
  • PowerVR G6200 graphics processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 resolution
  • 32GB expandable storage, via microSD
  • 13-megapixel rear camera
  • 5-megapixel front camera
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Amigo OS 3.2)
  • 3100mAh battery

Currently, the Gionee S6 Pro retails in Nepal for $329 (~Php 16K) while the Gionee P7 Max is pegged at $207 (~Php 10K). No word yet from Gionee on whether these phones will be launched in other markets.
