The mid-range Pixel phone we are waiting for?
Aside from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, there are rumors of a third Pixel phone aimed at the mid-range market. The said phone recently made an appearance as a prototype.
Called the Pixel 3 Lite, Google’s alleged mid-range phone looks closer to the regular Pixel 2 with its notchless 5.56-inch Full HD+ IPS display and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. You get a polycarbonate unibody with a fingerprint scanner and a 12-megapixel rear camera.
For the specs, the Pixel 3 Lite is a typical mid-ranger with a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. While it has a headphone jack, the Pixel 3 Lite does not have a microSD card slot, so you have to be mindful at its limited storage.
Keeping the lights on is a 2915mAh battery and Android Pie. Unfortunately, there’s no word if this will make it to production, so the Pixel 3 Lite might stay as a prototype.
Should Google push through with this mid-range Pixel phone?
