The suspension includes revoking Huawei’s to future Android updates
Following US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a national emergency against Huawei, Reuters reports that Google is set to suspend its business with Huawei.
According to Reuter’s source, the suspension will be a big blow to Huawei, as it will lose access to future Android updates, along with access to popular Google apps like Play Store and GMail. Details about the suspension are being discussed internally at Google as of this writing.
This development means that effective immediately, all Huawei phones—including the recently-released P30 and P30 Pro—will not receive any Android updates in the future.
Huawei has yet to comment on the matter as of this writing.
